Scholarships: Aletha Honnold, Paris Woman's Club, and Summer Art Camp Aletha Honnold: This scholarship is open to any qualified student wishing to pursue a career in fine arts - creative (visual) arts, theater, music or dance. Eligible applicants include students presently enrolled in an institution of higher learning and majoring in fine arts. Please note, however, that this scholarship is not limited to high school students entering a college or university in the fall. The applicant who receives the annual scholarship award must at the time of the award be accepted by or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the confines of the fifty (50) United States of America, and enrolled in that institution's fine arts program. The applicant to receive the award must be or have been a native of Edgar County, Illinois albeit a non-resident at the time of the award. Any award made to an applicant pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Aletha Honnold Scholarship Trust may be paid only directly to the successful applicant's college or university to be used toward that applicant's tuition, fees, books and supplies. In granting the award to any individuals, no consideration shall be given the applicant's religion, race, color, creed, gender or national origin. Paris Woman's Club: Scholarship for Paris High
School Students Only
Open to: Any qualified student wishing to pursue

Application must be returned to the Art Center by April 30, 2010. Any award
made to an applicant pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Paris Woman's
Club, Inc. Scholarship Trust may be paid only directly to the successful
applicant's college or university to be used toward that applicant's tuition,
fees, books and supplies. In granting the award to any individuals, no
consideration shall be given the applicant's religion, race, color, creed,
gender or national origin.
Summer Art Camp Scholarship: Students of Edgar County High Schools
Application Deadline: April 30, 2010
Number of Scholarships: Two The Art Center pays 1/2 of the fees and the student pays the remainder plus a $35 material fee. The Eastern Illinois University in Charleston sends an application form to be filled out by the applicant and the student will stay for a week on campus.
